Specialty Farm (Parcel L)

Parcel L will become a specialty farm, employing intensive agriculture practices that could include specialty crops such as heirloom fruits and vegetables, egg-laying poultry flocks, and heritage livestock. Greenhouses may also be constructed. The farm will employ certified organic practices and an appropriate farm plan will be developed.

An existing residence is in very poor condition, and research does not indicate architectural significance. A new residence to be occupied by the owner, farm manager or other persons directly involved with the agricultural use of the parcel is planned. Additionally, in keeping with the historic use of the property, a small bed and breakfast inn might be constructed on this parcel as allowed by the existing zoning designation. Parcel L will share access with Parcels J and K through an existing common driveway from Highway 1.
